PROSEDURE TEXT

1.    The way of making ice tea:

You have to prepare the tools and ingredients, such as:

A.      Tools:

a.    Stove

b.    Teapot (to boil water)

c.    Cup/Glass

d.   Spoon

e.    Straw

B.       Ingredients:

a.    Water

b.    Sugar

c.    Tea

d.   Cubs ice

C.      Cooking Instructions:

1.         Fill the teapot with a cup of water

2.         Turn on the stove

3.         Put the teapot on the stove to boil the water

4.         While waiting the water boiled, we have to prepare the glass or cup.

5.         Fill the glass with two spoon of sugar, and also add the tea to the glass.

6.         If the water already boils, pour the water to the glass that you have already prepared.

7.         Stir the water with the spoon  

8.         Wait a moment, and then add cub ice into the glass.

9.         Put the straw into the glass.

10.     Fresh ice tea is ready to serve.

2.  The way of making a cup of coffee

You have to prepare the tools and ingredients, such as:

A.      Tools:

a.    Stove

b.    Teapot (to boil water)

c.    Cup/Glass

d.   Spoon

B.       Ingredients:

a.    Water

b.    Sugar

c.    Coffee powder

C.      Cooking instructions

1.    Fill the teapot with a cup of water

2.    Turn on the stove and put the teapot on it , to boil the water.

3.    While waiting the water boiled, we have to prepare the glass or cup.

4.    Fill the glass with two spoons of sugar and a spoon of coffee powder

5.    If the water already boils, pour the water to the glass that you have already prepared.

6.    Stir the water in the glass with the spoon

7.    A cup of coffee is ready to serve.

3.  The way of making fried rice

You have to prepare the tools and ingredients, such as:

A.      Tools:

a.    Stove

b.    Wok

c.    Scoop

d.   Plate

e.    Spoon

B.       Ingredients:

a.    Rice

b.    Chili

c.    Onion

d.   Tomato

e.    Sugar

f.     Salt

g.    Oil

C.      Cooking Instructions:

1.         Slice the cooking spices (chili, onion, and tomato)

2.         Add oil into the wok and put it on the stove.

3.         Turn on the stove boil oil

4.         If the oil is already boiled, add the cooking spices that you already prepared.

5.         Stir the cooking spices with the scoop, and wait a moment.

6.         Add the rice into the wok.

7.         Add the salt and sugar sufficiently.

8.         Stir and mix the rice well.

9.         Locate the fried rice in the plate.

10.     The fried rice is ready to serve.

Teaching Media

1.        Flash Card

The first media that I choose is flash card, because flash card is very simple thing. Flash card is one of the media that we can use in teaching English especially for teaching vocabulary, for instance we can teach about parts of speech. Here are some steps to use flash card.

How to use flash card:

a.    The teacher prepares the flash card and brings them to the class room.

b.   Teacher writs the table on the whiteboard, and the table consist of parts of speech (noun, verb, adverb, pronoun, adjective, etc.)

c.    The teacher prepares 10 until 15 words that include in parts of speech, and write one word in each flash card.

d.   The teacher asks the student to come in front of the class one by one and choose one flash card with a word.

e.    When the student in front of the class, the teacher ask the student to look at the word on their flash card and then decide that whether it include on noun, adverb, verb, or etc. and write it on the table on the whiteboard.

2.        Advertisement

Advertisement is a thing that we can found in every place. Almost all of the people know and have found advertisement. Advertisement usually use to promoting the product. In addition to promoting the product, we can also use advertisement as the media for teaching English. Especially for teaching reading and pronunciation skill. Here are some steps to use advertisement in teaching English.

How to use Advertisement:

a.    Teacher asks the student to bring their own advertisement.

b.   Teacher asks the student to read their advertisement slowly and loudly.

c.    Ask them to finding the information of the advertisement itself about what is the advertisement is talk about and what the purpose of the advertisement itself.

d.   Ask them to finding the difficult word and its meaning, ask them to discuss with their friends.

3.        Comics

A comic is appropriated to teach student in junior or senior high school, because commonly the student in junior high school prefer to reading story rather than textbook. We can use comics to teach listening and reading comprehension skills. Here are some steps to teach with comics.

How to use comics:

a.    Teacher reads the comics slowly and loudly, and asks the student to listen carefully.

b.   Teacher gives the questions and ask student to answer directly. For example, teacher asks the student about the actor or actrees, where and where the story is took place, etc.

c.    Teacher decide the student into some groups and asks them to read a comic.

d.   Teacher ask the student to discuss about the content of the comic and present it in front of the class.

Assalamu’alaikum wr.wb. My name is Rinda Solawati, my friends always call me Rinda. Do you know ? This name was given by my beloved mother, she says that she gave me the name Rinda Solawati because i was born when someone peals Sholawat in mosque. I have dark skin, straight and long hair, and also i have flat nose. I think, my body is not very short, it is about 156 cm and my weight is about 46 kg. I think the tall and weight of my body is balance.

I am broken home girl. My parents was separated long times ago, when i was two years old. I dont have sibling, i am one and only child. I am from West Lombok exactly at Kuripan. I live with my uncle and my grandmother since i was 15 years old. Now i am twenty years old. I am a student in IKIP Mataram, i am in English Departement. My ambition is to be a success person in anything. Eventhough i dont live with my parents, i will try to reach my ambition.

I interested in watching movie. Because it can motivated and give me spirit when i have some problems. I have many collections of movie including romance, horror, and comedy. That's all  about me, thank you. Wassalamu’alaikum wr.wb
